Muse have just won the title of “Wembley’s Greatest Event” with their 2007 HAARP stadium shows.
They beat off fierce competition from the likes of Live Aid, Queen, FA Cup Finals, Evel Knievel, Michael Jackson and of course, the man who pushed infront of Muse to open the new stadia, George Michael!
“Muse became the first band to play the new Wembley Stadium with two nights back to back and a full house both nights.
They took their reputation as the best live act in the UK at the time and realizing the potential of the new stadium, propelled themselves to a whole new level.
This was a truly special performance by the band and it was hard to believe that three men on a stage could generate such an atmosphere for the crowd. The band was back at Wembley by popular demand when they returned in September 2010 for another two nights.”
